Where we come from
SCAPSA was founded by a group of action pistol shooters who bonded together. They found a plot of land that they could rent and built several berms, allowing them to set up stages for competitive pistol shooting. A few years later, they became a USPSA-affiliated club, and the rest is history. The range is open to members and shooting enthusiasts of all ages during its operating hours. We welcome the general public who are interested in learning the sport.
What are we doing today
From April to October, we host more than 30 pistol matches each year. On Tuesday nights, weather permitting, we conduct our regular USPSA and Hit Factor matches. SCAPSA is actively involved with the Minnesota USPSA Section and take part in their annual points series. Throughout the season, SCAPSA organizes PCSL and Steel Challenge matches on select Saturdays, showcasing various aspects of the shooting sport in Central Minnesota. After the matches, it's common to see someone grilling and providing food for the shooters as they unwind, chat and reconnect with fellow shooters.

Where are we going
We are always looking for new props to purchase in order to create fresh and challenging courses for Tuesdays and weekend matches. With action pistol shooting becoming ever more popular and the growth of USPSA and PCSL, who knows where SCAPSA will be going. We continue to grow and add new members and shooters to our club, we hope you will come and join us and help us take the sport to new heights.
